Welcome to the first week of the fall beach league. The games were thrilling, exhausting, and much different than regular “field” league. Here is a recap of the games.

Round 1:

Green over Gold: The NUK game. Contrary to the name, Nik orchestrated a smooth and flowing offense to allow green to take a smooth 8-4 win.

White over black: [Redacted. Big frisbee doesn’t want you to know what happened in this game. White 11-Black 9 is the rumored score]

Round 2:

Blue over green: Blue harnessed the full power of the round 1 bye, coming out on fire. New league players, Jen (with layouts and Ds) and Calvin (with scores) may be the steals of the draft. For green, Viktor and Sean both came up big with athletic plays of their own. 11-5 was the final score

Black over gold: Black win this won in a tight defensive minded game. Huffman may have had the play of the day as he got up big to sky a crowd for a callahan. Black takes it 5-3
